| A woman stands alone as she watches a parting boat, feebly trying to protect her head from the heat with a piece of paper ...a capsule of the climate and culture of Thailand. As my friends flip through my photos they quickly skim past this image, something I have never understood. This photograph stands as one of my favorites, the type of image I would expect to find in a European gallery. So what do you think, are my friends missing the point, or am I reading too much into my own images? |
