This
charming young woman was promoting Bridgestone Tires on the plaza
at Siam Paragon. She seemed to be the most photogenic girl I had
ever photographed. Every frame I snapped was off the
charts beautiful. Fortunately, I did get her email, because four
years later, when I released my first song, I was looking for
someone to play the female role in my music video. Having
asked quite a few Thai girls already, who perhaps were too shy,
or had whatever other reasons for not participating, I
remembered Lukewa and sent her an email. She had never done any
acting before, but she made a stunning debut, and looked drop
dead gorgeous. Three years later I would rewrite my song and
redo the video. The new video focused mostly on the musicians,
but I carried a number of Lukewa's clips
over to the new video (click here) Interesting enough, when she
came for the shoot she brought her friend, Aek, a guy who like
myself played guitar. Aek and I became friends and remain so
to this day. |
